Ethel Barrymore Theatre Rules
Please be aware that absolutely no recording devices of any kind, including still cameras, will be allowed into the theare. This is at the request of the majority of performers and shows, who do not allow any duplication of their performances.
As is common practice in most theaters, children under the age of five years old will not be permitted, and the show may not be suitable for children under the age of 12. All children that do attend must be seated with an adult.
Outside food and drink are not permitted in the theater, however soft drinks, water, cocktails and candy are all available to buy.
The Ethel Barrymore Theater lobby will typically open 45 mins prior to curtain, and it is recommended that guests arrive at least 15 minutes before the performance is due to start.
There is no dress code at Ethel Barrymore Theatre, as the type of performances offered varies greatly. Anything from formal wear to smart casual would be appropriate, depending on the performance.
